So what DO you say to the dinner guest who is saying yes to the invitation but tells you that he is not going to eat?!
And then goes on telling you AND the other dinner guests that it's not good to eat after a certain hour and so on? Well, what is clear to me is that I'll invite others next time. For dinner that is (it's a good person, just not when it comes to food).
He can come for a drink. Not for food. Make an excuse - I have no problem accepting if some doesn't want to or can't eat but why do the rest have to suffer for that?!?

(And come to think about it, with this guy there is always some discussion about what you should or shouldn't eat, and when and why, when there is food involved.)
